Questions buyers ask.
How many sanctions sources does Verifex cover?
Verifex screens across configured sources with published source attribution and freshness tracking. Coverage depends on enabled sources and plan tier. Source-level attribution and freshness are disclosed in every screening response.
How often are sanctions lists updated?
Each source has a recorded cadence matching its publisher's rhythm: daily for OFAC, EU and UK; weekly for UN, Canada, Australia and Switzerland; monthly for several debarment registers. A cadence is not a refresh guarantee: what a given screening decision actually rested on is reported in that response's coverage fields and Evidence Capsule. Live per-source state, including last successful ingestion and freshness, is published at /data-sources.
Can I see which list version was used for a screening?
Yes. Every API response includes the exact source list and version identifier used at screening time. You can prove which data state was active when the decision was made.
Does Verifex create sanctions designations?
No. Verifex does not create sanctions designations. We sync and screen against official government and intergovernmental lists. Screening results support risk review and audit evidence; they are not legal advice.
