A name on a list is close enough that a person must look at it. It is not a confirmed identity. Open the evidence to see why it matched.

How it works
Four steps, and screening lives where your team already works.
Step 1
Install the app
Add Verifex to your HubSpot account. HubSpot asks you to approve that the app can read and write contacts and companies, and create its Verifex fields.
Step 2
Connect your Verifex key
Open the app’s settings in HubSpot and paste an API key from your Verifex dashboard. Screens then use your plan’s lists and count toward its quota.
Step 3
Press “Screen now”
Open any contact or company. The Verifex card in the sidebar screens that record against every list on your plan, usually in a few seconds.
Step 4
Read the result, keep the proof
The card shows the result and why. The same result is saved on the record, with a link to the full evidence in Verifex.
What the card can say
Four results, each in plain words.
The check ran, but the result cannot count as clear on its own, for example because a date of birth or country on the record contradicts a listed entry. A person decides.
The check could not finish, or could not cover every list on your plan: for example a list was out of date or unavailable, your quota ran out, or Verifex could not be reached. Nothing is assumed. The reason is shown on the card, and saved on the record when HubSpot can be reached.
Nothing matched in the lists your plan checked. The detail line says how many lists were checked, and the evidence names them. It is never shown as a green tick: whether that clears the customer is your policy’s decision.
Built for compliance teams
The same check you would defend to an auditor.
HubSpot never decides
The card shows Verifex’s result in Verifex’s words. It adds no judgement of its own, and anything it does not recognise reads as “Review required”.
Only what screening needs
From the record, only first and last name, country and date of birth for a contact, or a company’s name and country. HubSpot adds your account ID and the user’s ID and email to each request, as it does for every app.
Credentials stored encrypted
Your connected Verifex key and HubSpot’s access tokens are encrypted before they are stored, each one tied to your HubSpot account.
Easy to disconnect
Remove the key in the app’s settings at any time. Uninstall the app and Verifex deletes its stored HubSpot credentials, usually within a day.
The same check as the API
A screen from HubSpot is a normal Verifex screening, with the same lists, the same rules and the same saved evidence as one from your own system.

Questions about the HubSpot app.
What does the Verifex app for HubSpot do?
It adds a Verifex card to HubSpot contacts and companies. Press “Screen now” and Verifex checks that record against the sanctions lists, PEP data and watchlists on your Verifex plan. The result and its reason appear on the card and are saved in five Verifex properties on the record, with a link to the evidence.
Is the app on the HubSpot App Marketplace?
Not yet. The app is in early access before it is listed on the Marketplace. Contact us and we will set up your HubSpot account.
Do I need a Verifex account?
Yes. The app screens with your own Verifex API key, so it uses the lists on your plan and each screen counts toward your plan’s quota, like any other screening. You can start with a free trial.
Does “No potential match in the lists checked” mean the customer is clear?
Not by itself. It means nothing matched in the lists your plan checked; the card says how many were checked, and the evidence names them. Whether that clears the customer is your compliance policy’s decision. If any list could not be checked, the card says “Screening incomplete” or “Review required” instead, never this.
What HubSpot data does Verifex receive?
From the record, only the fields screening needs: a contact’s first and last name, country and date of birth, or a company’s name and country. Like every HubSpot app, each request also carries your HubSpot account ID and the ID and email of the user who pressed the button; Verifex keeps the user ID of whoever connected the key. Verifex then writes the result back to the record’s Verifex properties.
Can it screen records automatically, in a workflow?
Not yet. Today you screen a record from its card. Screening from HubSpot workflows is planned, and this page will say so when it is available.
How do I disconnect or remove the app?
Remove the Verifex key in the app’s settings to stop screening at once. Uninstalling the app from HubSpot also removes it; Verifex then deletes the stored HubSpot credentials, usually within a day. Screenings already made stay in your Verifex account under its normal retention.
